DESCRIPTION:Attend a special planetarium show with the General Motors Astronomy Club!  Anyone can attend\, you don’t need to be a member. \nLet Longway Planetarium’s astronomy experts take you on a tour of the night sky over Michigan in this live planetarium lecture.  Learn about the rotation of the Earth\, how to find the North Star\, which constellations and planets are visible in your backyard tonight.  Stargazers can come back to this show again and again to find out about recent astronomical events and for seasonal updates on what’s visible in the night sky over Michigan.  Recommended for ages 8 and older. \nPlanetarium Show: 5-6pm\n$6 for adults\, $4 for seniors and children ages 2-11\nPublic Observing: 6pm to 11pm\, weather depending \nIf the skies are clear\, we will be setting up our telescopes to share the night sky with the public.  Dress warm! \nFind this event on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1200445516786338/
