The Livingston County Health Department provided notice on Sunday, September 29th, that one case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (“EEE”) has been confirmed in Livingston County, and has recommended that members of the community act to reduce their risk of contracting EEE. Due to the heavy mosquito population at our observing site, and for the protection of our visitors, this month’s Open Observing Night is cancelled.

Also note that our backup location is currently unavailable, so there will also be no Cloudy Night’s Workshop. As always, we will continue to keep you updated on future events, via email, and you can always find the most up-to-date information on our website at www.gmastronomy.com.
